A Wall Street Journal article examines how sports teams and athletes — from long jumpers to baseball players such as big hitter Albert Pujols to golfers — are using software to track to try to improve their performance. There is so much analytics available that British long-jumper Shara Proctor says “you can easily overanalyze stuff, and that’s not good. You just have to tone that down.”
