Quoted: No spying by Huawei?

unnamed Reuters source who says an 18-month review ordered by the White House found no evidence of spying by Huawei Technologies, the China-based telecom company that a Congressional panel report identified as a possible security threat to the United States because of its alleged ties to the Chinese government. But a White House spokeswoman reportedly denies Reuters’ report: “The White House has not conducted any classified inquiry that resulted in clearing any telecom equipment supplier as reported in Reuters.” The security risks the review did find, according to Reuters, were vulnerabilities in Huawei technology caused by poor programming.
