John Paczkowski of All Things D is reporting this morning that Apple will unveil the Apple iPad Mini on Oct. 23 at a special event, likely at its town hall:
“As AllThingsD reported in August, Apple will hold a special event this month, at which it will showcase a new, smaller iPad. People familiar with Apple’s plans tell us that the company will unveil the so-called “iPad mini” on Oct. 23 at an invitation-only event.
Speculation was that Apple would announce the date of the announcement on Oct. 10. When that didn’t happen, rumors swirled that the Mini was being delayed.
Apple has not confirmed any of this. And rumors are rumors. No word in Paczkowski’s story on when Apple would send out invites.
If the date is correct. If the Mini exists.
