Google's susan wojcicki

Bloomberg TV’s Willow Bay on Monday will air a special on the continuing challenges of women in the tech industry. Sure, we’ve got women at the helms of Yahoo, HP and IBM, to name a few. But we’ve also had the Kleiner Perkins sex scandal and Sand Hill Road’s Cougar Night phenomenon. And, the folks at Bloomberg report, women make up just 3% of startup employees.

The one-hour special includes a roundtable where Theresia Gouw Ranzetta – one of the valley’s top female VCs – talks about being an engineer and having people ask “if I was bringing the mail.” Ouch. Also on the bill are Google SVP Susan Wojcicki (above) and Cisco CTO Padmasree Warrior.

Check out the action Monday at 6 p.m. 9 p.m. Eastern and Pacific at http://bloom.bg/PEjggJ.
