SF-based Fingerprint lands funding from Corus Entertainment

Fingerprint Digital, a mobile gaming startup that makes educational apps for kids, announces a cash infusion from Corus Entertainment, which owns properties like Nickelodeon Canada and produces animated shows including Babar, the Backyardigans and the Care Bears. (Yes, I have a toddler – why do you ask?)

Fingerprint folks aren’t disclosing the size of the round but say it boosts the startup’s total funding to $7.8M. You can read the release at www.fingerprintplay.com/news.
