In the burgeoning universe of pink-slip events, here’s another to consider:

More than 500 folks have already registered for tonight’s Jobhob, an event that pairs up volunteers with startups. The idea: job-seekers get some great hands-on experience with fellow Silicon Valley entreprenuers, startups get some free help.

It’s taking place at the Tech Museum of Innovation, and it’s the third in a series. Organizers says the previous events drew more than 300 attendees each. For more information, go to www.jobnob.com/happy-hour. Below is their formal pitch, with details about tonight’s gig. NOTE: Registration is required. Have fun!
