Yahoo CFO to get $1.8 million when he goes, though departure date is still uncertain

yahoo_logoCould it be that Yahoo is finding it harder to hire a new chief financial officer than it expected. It could be as early as June 30 or any other date after that up until Sept. 1, “as mutually agreed to” by he and the company,”according to a regulatory filing Friday. One thing is certain, the former chief operating officer of Thomas Weisel Parnters who joined Yahoo less than two years ago will get $1.8 million in severance when he goes.
