Recently re-elected Aviza director resigns over “health concerns”
Aviza Technology reported today that Robert Anderson resigned from its board of directors Monday “due to certain health concerns,” and not because of any disagreement with the company over its operations, policies or practices.
Anderson, 71, has served on Aviza’s board since 2005 and was the only director up for re-election at the company’s annual meeting last month. At the time he was nominated the board said it had “no reason to believe that Mr. Anderson will be unable or decline to serve as a director if elected.”
He served on the board’s audit and corporate governance & nominating committees.
